The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
